Manager/Head– Infrastructure & DevOps (12+ Years)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the entire infrastructure including Production (both bare metal and AWS) and Office IT.
• Manage and maintain the production systems and operations including SysAdmin, DB activities and L2/L1 operations.
• Coordinate across Dev, QA, Product, and Stakeholders in maintaining pre-production setup and performing integration sanity and UAT for ongoing feature deployments.
• Improve tools and processes, automate manual efforts, and maintain health of the system.
• Champion best practices, CI-CD, Metrics Driven Development
• Prepare cost reports and negotiate with vendors for infrastructure items.
• Maintain security of the system.
• Maintain the developer staging environments.

EXPERIENCE:

• 12+ years experience in DevOps/Technical Operations,
• 4+ years experience in managing teams.
• 2+ years in maintaining medium to large production setups (10+ applications, 30+ machines)

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Education – B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MBA/PGDBM
• Excellent knowledge of Linux (CentOS)
• Excellent knowledge of Linux scripting (Python, Bash)
• Excellent knowledge of AWS
• Good knowledge of system automation (Ansible)
• Good knowledge of Networking
• Good knowledge of various tools used for CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure management
• Working knowledge of Databases (MySQL, NoSQL)
• Working knowledge of Windows
• Working knowledge of security/ethical hacking
• Working knowledge of programming languages and containers would be good to have (Java, NodeJS)
