Pega Developer

As a Pega developer, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), Pega strategic applications, and related infrastructure. You will be in direct contact with project managers, system architects, and off shore team members as well as other engineers. Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the company's application portfolio, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit, client program, or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology
platforms.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

* Good hands on implementing PEGA integration services using REST.
* Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using
PegaSystems methodology and DCO tools.
* Responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 7X
* Ability to create reusable components that can be leveraged across the enterprise for providing top-notch customer experience
* Analyze, design and support implementation of business-specific Pega solutions and/or framework.
* Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
* Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary
* Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications.
* Performs technical design reviews and code reviews
* Ensures unit test is completed and meet the requirement.
* Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium-sized projects
* Mentor new team members.
* Assign appropriate tasks to junior project team members, coach project team members, and provide guidance on development best practices.
