THE STACK

Our app is built on top of Ethereum and Web3.js and we use Elixir and Go in the backend that supports our web platform built on React as well as our mobile apps built on React Native.

THE TEAM

You’ll be working with a team of engineers with backgrounds in crypto and consumer finance spanning over a decade. Our CTO Rahul was an ex-engineering manager at Paytm and worked on their early wallet infrastructure, our CEO Halim has been in the crypto space since 2017, having built multiple projects and speaking at various conferences.

We’re remote but we have a residential office cum living space in Bangalore with all the amenities taking care of!

You’ll learn and grow fast in this role, integrate Decentralized Finance protocols, earn crypto and simplify access to DeFi for millions of people around the world.

About the role

We are looking for a mobile engineer well versed with React Native, interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms.

You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes- React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Transition existing React web apps to React Native.

Skills

• Have experienced shipping high performing mobile apps independently
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Familiarity with native build tools like XCode/Android Studio
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
