Sr. Front End Developer

Headquartered in LA, Yapsody Entertainment is the largest provider of end-to-end concert services to independent venues and promoters. Serving clients since 1996, Yapsody currently does 200+ headline talent bookings per year from classics like Chubby Checker to contemporary mega superstars like Toby Keith. Yapsody also produces 150+ concert events per year in venues ranging from small traditional indoor theaters to 10,000 capacity temporary outdoor venues that Yapsody production staff set up from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Write functional requirement documents and guides.
• Develop user-facing features in web application
• Ensure technical feasibility of the design
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with Backend Developers and Designer to improve usability
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies

Requirements

• Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Front-end Developer
• Hands on experience of HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS, Bootstrap, Foundation
• Proficient understanding of Angular, Jquery, React
• In-depth understanding of entire web development process (Design, Development, Testing, Deployment)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning like Git, Mercury.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team player.
• Excellent Problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principal is plus.
• Knowledge of Jade is plus.
