Tech Lead for funded Fintech Venture

Yabx is a FinTech venture aimed at simplifying financial access to the 2 Bn+ under-banked people in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Our products handle transactions at massive scale. We're looking for tech leads that will help us build world class products. We need our engineers to be passionate, versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions. You will get an opportunity to interact with Professors and research scholars at leading academic institutions.

At Yabx, you will be working across a multi-culture, multi-geography team and collaborating with business teams, financial analysts, Data Scientists, Hardware teams etc. The founding team consists of people from IITs, IIMs and top engineering colleges.

The base location is Gurgaon. Candidates should be flexible to travel for short stints.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mathematics or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-12 Years of experience in designing, developing and testing software
• Experience with Data Structures or Algorithms (i.e. completing a data structures or algorithms class, coursework, course projects, research, individual projects, internships, or other practical experience in/outside of school or work (including open source hobby coding)).
• Software Development experience through hands on coding in a general purpose programming language.

Key Responsibilities

1. Actively participate in and contribute to architectural and technical stack choices
2. Recommend and implement technical solutions in a phased approach to introduce new product constructs to our platform
3. Engage with Product Managers, Architects and business stakeholders to define platform requirements
4. Work with and support Product Owners to deliver world beating solutions
