Hacker at Wowmakers

WowMakers, a young and exciting startup operating from Startup Village, Cochin, are looking for hackers to join our development team!

Here are some signs that you would fit right in with us:

• You usually have Hacker News open in one tab on your browser.
• You love implementing applications with beautiful UI and great usability.
• You like taking on different roles, and are willing to mentor and lead newer team members.

Skills we're looking for:

Our projects are built on Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework. So a good understanding of Ruby (and object-oriented programming, obviously) and MVC frameworks is what we're looking for. A good understanding of version control (especially Git) is also expected.

Don't worry if you aren't very familiar with Ruby. A good programmer can easily switch to a different language in no time, so we won't discriminate if you've been coding in Python/Java/whatever language most of the time.

WowMakers is a design focused startup, and the first one to be incubated at Startup Village in Cochin. Apart from branding, we also have a 3-member development team that works on our product ideas.
