Ecowiser leverages new-age web technologies to provide sustainable product recommendations across fashion, food, cosmetics, and household products. You will work with a diverse group of driven people who are interested in contributing to solving the climate crisis and making a positive difference in the world. Team members have experience working at Google and hail from top-tier business schools such as INSEAD. Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Web Application Design: Conceptualize and design advanced full-stack web applications using contemporary technologies, primarily Django. Create solutions tailored to complex business challenges. 2. Technical Leadership: Provide architectural roadmaps to the development team, ensuring technological excellence and adherence to best practices. 3. Technology Evaluation: Assess and integrate new frameworks and technologies to enhance the quality of our product platform. 4. Design Blueprinting: Translate business objectives into detailed technical specifications that align with overarching company goals. 5. Test-Driven Development: Commit to a rigorous test-driven development environment, author unit tests, and ensure that produced code consistently passes these tests. 6. Code Review: Conduct senior-level reviews of code written by the team, maintaining high standards for code quality and consistency. 7. Mentorship: Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement by mentoring team members and facilitating cross-training in the latest development practices. What do we need from you? Engagement Mode: Remote Work Commitment: 10-15 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate individual needs. Requirements: 1. Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years with Python web frameworks, with a strong preference for Django. 2. Full-Stack Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in React, Next.js, and associated web technologies. 3. Cloud Services: Solid experience with AWS-managed services and databases, including but not limited to S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB. 4. Industry Experience: Previous work with SAAS enterprises will be considered an advantage. 5. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate and document complex designs and concepts comprehensively. 6. Security Practices: Strong understanding of best security practices within the development life cycle. 7.
