Full Stack Android Developer

Looking for a full stack Android developer to join full time or on contract basis for bootstrapped B2C startup in a green field opportunity. Founding team has 3 successful exits between them. Already clocking steady revenue and on track for significant national and international growth over the next 12-18 months. See JD Below:

FULL STACK ANDROID and IOS DEVELOPER

LOCATION: BANGALORE
REPORTS TO: CEO/Founding Team
COMPENSATION: EARLY STAGE STARTUP SALARY + ESOPs on company milestones

  • Mobile – Experience building native Android applications and IOS applications. Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles and UI systems. Experience using APIs to load data and perform actions. Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
  • Shipped one or more mobile apps, ideally available in Apple or Google Play stores.
  • UI - Demonstrate ability in creating rich mobile and web interfaces using modern frameworks and techniques. Good judgment in UX/UI design.  Understand the finer points of interface builder / storyboards, XML layouts, HTML, CSS, and Javascript - know which tools to use when and why.
  • Experience of usage of REST APIs is a Must
  • Database - Understanding of mongoDB. Ability to write & diagnose queries, and work with DBAs. [Good to have]
  • Server - Knowledge of how servers operate on a low-level. Web protocols. REST protocols, Designing APIs. How to scale web sites. Increase performance and diagnose problems. Python prefered. [Good to have]
  • System architecture - Knowledge of how to structure a database, web site, and rich client side application from scratch.
  • Quality - Demonstrated usage of different testing patterns, continuous integration processes, and build deployment systems.
