Virtual Reality Developer

VROOK is an Ed-tech company developing learning solutions in Virtual Reality and 3D visuals which cater to the needs of the higher education sector. 

What we require from the Candidate - 

We are looking for candidates with background in game development, specializing in VIRTUAL REALITY for educational purpose. This job involves developing, designing, and programming applications in-game engine Unity3D

Experience and overall knowledge of lighting, animation, audio, optimization, physics, etc. are required. The position encompasses many roles, with a focus on rapidly prototyping virtual reality concepts. Knowledge of every part of game development, from proof-of-concept to final bug testing is preferred.

Communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team are essential.

Responsibilities & Requirements - 

Experience in application development preferably in Unity 3D game engine.
Proficiency in C#, C++, .Net development or Java development work.
Unity Game Engine / Unreal Engine 4 Open GL, Open GL ES, Web GL Image processing, Mathematical algorithms, Data analysis
Strong understanding of computer graphics concepts like Low Poly Modeling, UV Maps Tracing, Surfacing etc.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
Excellent ability to write efficient, clear, and maintainable code.
Experience with virtual reality (Vive, Oculus) and VR SDKs (Steam VR plugin for Unity, Unity VR API, Open VR) are desired.
Knowledge about educational applications of VR/Gaming is recommended as the product to be developed is for educational purposes.
