Those joining this job will be working for the largest Virtual Lab portal (http://vlab.co.in/)across the Globe, with open source technologies, experts in their work, reaching out to lakhs of students who repeatedly use the experiments developed by you.  This has educational and social impact currently touching 30 lakh users which is a growing target. 

Work responsibilities

Work as part of a team to build a web application and widget library that simulate experiments that teach computer science concepts

  • Work with subject matter experts and designers to refine the technical design and build a quality front-end application
  • Work in short sprints to deliver shippable releases.

Skills and Experiences required1 to 5 years of professional web development

  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Experience with one or more JS frameworks -  jQuery, Angular, React, Vue
  • Experience in dealing with cross-browser compatibility issues, web application debugging and performance optimization
  • Demonstrably good programming skills to implement complex algorithms cleanly in Javascript
  • Experience with WebGL web applications
