Vitara helps enterprise customers get real value out of business intelligence platforms by providing an exception visual experience. We build visualizations that are intuitive, scalable and effective.
As an engineer you will spend most of the time building new visualizations and enhancing existing ones. Creative thinking is critical in figuring out optimal user experience with each visual. You will have a lot of freedom in coming up with interesting ways of presenting information.
You will work with a mix of front end technologies, primarily JavaScript, D3, HTML 5, SVG, CSS (and related tech like SaSS/LESS). You'd also work with Git, WebPack.
While front-end is really where the bulk of the work is, we are perfectly fine with considering engineers who have a solid backend programming background. The key requirement is a keen interest in UI/UX work, solid programming skills (in any language) and critical thinking. 1 to 3 years of work experience would be ideal.
Please note that this is a full time position in Hyderabad, India.
