Backend Software Engineer Python 2.7 Google App Engine (Full time, long term contract)

The role entails development of features for our SaaS platform. The development environment is Python 2.7, Webapp2, jinja2 framework deployed on Google App Engine.

You will interact with the founder as well as other team members to flush out requirements, do research where needed, design and implement the required functionality.

Majority of the work is backend oriented with some development on the front end using jQuery.

Specifically, the role will entail the following:

1. Development of new features and enhancement of existing features of the product.
2. Analyze feedback and improve upon features under development.
3. Test your work for zero defect deployment.
4. Design for performance and scalability.
5. Participate in software engineering discussions to implement as well as improve development processes.
6. Ensure customer delight.
7. Learn new technologies.
