Python Developer in Test

We are looking for a Python Developer in Test with a strong background in QA, white-box testing and scripting/automation.

To qualify for this role, you MUST:

1. Know Python. You must atleast be comfortable writing idiomatic python code and be familiar with the python standard library.
2. Know how do white-box testing on Python code. You must be able to write unit-tests for python code with at least one existing Python test framework.
3. Have at least 3+ years of experience in QA having performed end-to-end tests on products.
4. Have good linux expertise and be comfortable working full-time in a linux environment.

Additional qualities desired:

1. Experience writing scripts for test automation.
2. Familiarity with async frameworks in Python.
3. Experience/knowledge of Building Automation/Energy Management domain.
4. Familiarity with protocols like BACnet, Modbus.
5. Exposure to JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
6. Exposure to testing web applications, RESTful APIs and through browser automation
7. Strong desire to automate everything.
8. Strong interest in tool-smithing with open source tools/code.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5+ years in QA. Maximum ~10 years.

We'd be interested in hearing from you even if you are a Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer or a Test Architect with higher years of experience as long as you fit the requirements and desired qualities.
