User Experience Expert to join our Product Development team.

We're Bang The Table, one of the largest community engagement platform in the world, with over 300 clients. We help governments across the world connect, communicate and engage better with their citizens. 

We are looking for a problem solver and human-centered designer with a passion for designing interfaces to help online participants voice their opinions in the civic engagement space.

You should have a passion for hands-on design challenges (not solely academic or artistically abstract) related to digital products and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will be based in our Bangalore office, where you will be part of a team that is creative and geeky.

Your Tasks:

In collaboration with other members of the Product and UX Team, you will:

• Define interaction patterns and behaviours that encourage people to spend time using BangTheTable products.
• Participate in concept development, design ideation and creation of user-centered design solutions to support strategic business objectives/roadmap.
• Run user tests to improve our products.
• Ensure equal satisfaction of business, user, and technical objectives.
• Inspire others through effective communication of conceptual ideas.
• Produce interactive designs that address defined requirements for users, business, and technology.
• Create sketches, workflows, guidelines, prototypes, specifications, wireframes and information visualization.

What we expect:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the product/services industry supported by a portfolio of UXdesign.
• Experience in planning, managing, and organizing qualitative and quantitative user research, interviews and remote usability tests.
• Having experience of working in agile development groups would be added plus.
• Able to independently manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Ability to facilitate collaborative work sessions with multi-disciplinary teams and client representatives. experience with rapid prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, proto.io, etc.
• Profound knowledge in collaborative design techniques, rapid prototyping, UI design, UI patterns, time-based visual design and information architecture.
