Senior Frontend Engineer

We are a remote software studio that works on wide variety of software challenges for our clients. We are looking to hire a Senior Frontend Developer (Remote) to build and lead a frontend team at Vertexco

Responsibilities

- Use your extensive knowledge of frontend technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS) to build great web products for our clients.

- Collaborate with the product and design teams on the client side as well as inhouse backend team.

- Always keep abrest of new web technologies and adopt them wherever they make sense to solve problems for our clients

- Help building a frontend team and mentor other engineers

Required Skills:

- 3+ years of work experience writing client side javascript

- Expertise in building layouts with CSS/HTML

- Expertise with modern frontend build tools like webpack/rollup/next.js

- 1+ year work experience with latest web technologies like React/Redux/Typescript

- Strong UX and design sensibilities

- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with clients

Desired Skills

- Experience in small product startups environment

- Experience working on consumer products with large traffic (> 1 million daily users)

- Experience working with mockups and prototyping tools like Invision, Photoshop, Zeplin etc

- Contributions to open source projects

- Writing technical blogs and speaking at conferences
