Software Engineer (Generative AI)

At Vertexcover Labs, we're a passionate team building real-world Generative AI applications for funded deeptech startups like Invideo, Dubdub, Rephrase, and DhiWise. We're language agnostic, having used Python, Golang, Rust, Typescript, and Clojure in the past.

Here's what you'll do:

- Integrate cutting-edge Generative AI frameworks (RAG, Embeddings, Rerankers, AI Agents) into client products.
- Stay ahead of the curve by reading research papers and exploring the latest advancements in GenAI.
- Tackle current LLM challenges like cost, performance, hallucinations, and testing.
- Fine-tune open-source models to fit specific needs.
- Craft clean, maintainable, and reliable code.
- Conduct quick experiments and proof-of-concepts with new libraries and frameworks.

The Hiring Process:

- Assignment: Apply your skills to a Generative AI problem (4-6 hours), or showcase a significant open-source project.
- 90-Minute Technical Round: Discuss your assignment and previous work.
