Full Stack Developer - Intern

We are looking for a full stack front end and backend NodeJS Developer. Your primary focus will be to design and implement backend APIs with a focus on delivering best­in­class HTML5/CSS3/Javascript frontend code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects. Your main responsibilities will include creating modules, components and APIs, coupling them together into a functional web and mobile app. You will work in a team of back-end developers, and work with app team. A thorough understanding of all of the components of our platform and infrastructure is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stake holders to match the raw requirements into design specifications.
• Coordinate with the front end developers to design RESTful APIs.
• Develop scalable, secure, well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• CSS systems such as LESS and SASS to compile style files
• Javascript MVC frameworks ­ angular.js , Backbone.js etc
• GIT or other version control system

Requirements

• Proficiency with JavaScript, Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience on NodeJs, AngularJS and/or BackboneJS, KnockoutJS.
• Experience with designing and implementing scalable web services.
• Proficiency with RDBMS systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
• Proficiency with Caching systems such as Memcached, Redis etc
• Deep knowledge of NodeJS, AngularJS/BackboneJS/KnockoutJS best practices.
• Design patterns and object oriented programming.

Nice to have skills & experience:

• Knowledge of CSS and HTML5 for providing performant visual effects
• Knowledge message queues such as RabbitMQ etc.
• Knowledge of full software development cycle from brainstorming to design, implementation though release.
