Strategic Planning & Budgeting:-

  • To create and maintain Information Technology & Management strategy in line
    with stakeholder needs and in keeping up with current best practice for the telecom sector in
    the field of IT.
  • To develop long term action plans to ensure optimum and enhanced utilization of the IT (implemented applications, infrastructure, network and resources).
  • To drive cost efficiency through proper budgeting in all spheres of IT and capacity utilization of the team.

  • To analyze the existing processes and evaluate new web based applications to integrate into the system
  • To be a champion of change, optimizing current IT solutions whilst promoting innovative solutions to operational challenges.

IT Application & System Management:-

  • To ensure existing applications in the organization are up and running and re-engineer them to maximize their productivity level.
  • Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations
    governance process.
  • Works closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships. Setup and run the
    Governance with the partners. Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.
  • Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners.
  • To manage the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered.
  • Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation
    for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.

Leadership & Team Management:-

  • To direct, supervise and develop team to achieve assigned targets & maintain good relationships.
  • To ensure self  & team's alignment to organizational goals, policies and provide support to other departments.
  • To monitor, equip the team to monitor themselves & engage in constant performance discussion to identify gaps and improve performance.
  • To create a succession plan in order to build strong second line leadership team.
  • To develop oneself and team through organizational initiatives like coaching, training, continuous feedback session, etc.

General:- 

  • Should have experience working on LINUX platform.
  • Should understand the process of converting manual process to automation tool.
  • Should have a good understanding about the independent platform application like Pearl / Java / C# / C++ and etc.,
  • Customer handling skills
  • Preferably from a Telecom industry.
