Hardware Design Engineer Intern

We are building consumer electronic neurotech for reducing the attention lapses and improving the mental health of humans. Our goal is to evolve the human by augmenting the brain with technology.

We are looking for a hardware design engineer intern.

Duration: 3-6 months.

Key skills

• Hands-on experience with designing amplification and filtering circuits.
• Hands-on experience with ADCs, Processor boards, Programming different microcontrollers.
• Building Circuit Schematics and PCB Designing.
• Circuit Simulation and familiarity with simulators.
• Basic knowledge of protocols like UART, SPI, USB etc.
• Experience with interfacing sensors as input and audio/ visual as output with embedded systems.
• Hardware troubleshooting and testing.
• Working experience with soldering.
• Working experience with Oscilloscope.

Preferred qualities

• You are fundamentally strong in electrical and electronics engineering theoretical concepts.
• You have a quick turnaround time in translating ideas into circuits which work every time.
• You undertake complete ownership of the task.
• You believe in deep isolated personal work and collaboration at the same time.
• You have the ability to handle dissonance with the prefrontal cortex - the evolutionary most recent and rational part of the brain.
• You are passionate about exploring neuroscientific techniques/ neurotech to improve your cognitive control/ prefrontal cortex.
