Walk-in for CLIx project at TISS, Mumbai (SysAdmin/UI-UX/SeniorSoftware/Data Engineers)

Connected Learning Initiative (CLIx), an innovative EdTech programme is doing some pathbreaking disruptions in government schools across India.

A collaboration between Tata Trusts, Mumbai, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston, CLIx offers best of many worlds.
Partnering with the gnowledge lab at TIFR's Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai, we develop cutting edge technology solutions to offer best of the learning opportunities to hundreds of government schools across India (currently working with 500 schools and expanding to many thousands in near future)
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic persons for below positions to design, development and deployment of Educational Technologies such as platforms, games and data crunching:

1. Systems Administrator/DevOps

• Requirements: 2+ years of experience in Sys/network related overall tasks: Administration, provisioning, maintenance, operations & support, monitoring virtual machines, partitions and nginx. Thorough understanding of docker is essential.

2. UI/UX Developer

• Requirements: 2+ years of experience with HTML5, Javascript,CSS, UI/UX design – especially responsive web de-
  sign.
  

3. Senior Software Engineer

Requirements: 3+ years of experience in,

• Full stack development using open source web frameworks such Python django, foundation CSS, Bootstrap.
• Strong understanding and experience of front-end technologies and frameworks in HTML, CSS, SAAS, JS, react and responsive design.
• Expertise with NoSQL and graph databases including mongoDB, neo4j, PostgreSQL and
  comfort with SQL.
• Proficiency in bash/shell scripting.
• Strong understanding and experience of restAPI, CRUD API and openAPI frameworks.

4. Data Scientist

• Requirements: 10+ years of experience, in the data mining/management role with at least three years in
  the Education and/or development sector.
• Expertise and experience of at least any two of R, Python, shell scripting languages.
• Comfortability with SPSS, STATA and other ETL Tools.
• Strong understanding and experience of querying database with SQL and NoSQL and understanding of API querying and analytics frameworks.

5. Data Engineer

• Requirements: 5+ years of experience, in the data mining/management role with at least three years in
  the Education and/or development sector.
• Expertise and experience of at least any two of R, Python, shell scripting languages.
• Comfortability with SPSS, STATA and other ETL Tools.
• Strong understanding and experience of querying database with SQL and NoSQL and understanding of API querying and analytics frameworks.
