As a UI Designer , your design solution should inspire, engage and delight users. You’ll rely on user-centered design principles to create high-quality visuals—from idea to execution—over various platforms. You will be an important member of the Thence User Experience Design team and help guide the visual language for products that support both us and clients. At Thence you'll have the opportunity to define how users interact and use our applications within the sharing economy and be a true innovator in the services space. This position works closely with Design Head, Product Consultants, Design Guides, UI/UX designers and Developers to create engaging designs that reflect business requirements, support user needs, and are technically feasible. Duties and Responsibilities Own the UI Design delivery outcome, timelines and manage design sprints, estimations for the assigned project. Be a part of client calls and understand client requirements and conduct stakeholder workshops. . Break down the problem statement and conduct relevant research for domain clarity. Ensure all relevant insights from discovery are incorporated into solutions. Align solutions with the brand, target audience, and product functionality. Craft tailored solutions and concept stories that solve user problems and business intent, iterating and selecting the best solutions. Focus on creating reusable user experience and maintain a library of components, icons, colors, and fonts used throughout the product with user experience best practices (Hit area, accessibility, consistency, auto-layouts, variants) Transform Product goals into a set of beautiful, easy-to-use and accessible designs, such as a set of app screens. Provide and solicit critique on your designs as well as the designs of your team-mates; Take ownership of design documentation and handoff processes, ensuring comprehensive and clear records of design decisions and assets for seamless transfer to development teams. Review and share feedback on quality to junior designers and groom them to be more efficiently and deliver high quality output. Meet the performance goals as defined periodically. Skills Required 2+ years of experience in a UI / Visual design role Strong understanding of design process, methodology, and human-centered design. Good knowledge to work with design tools, specifically Figma. A portfolio showcasing great looking web & mobile applications Consistent ability to apply a brand's style and interaction patterns Strong design thinking and understanding of tactical design Passion to solve visual design problems and the ability to distinguish Ability to work in an Agile development environment and communicate your ideas to internal and external stakeholders Thinks both tactically and strategically, and has high levels of self-direction, innovation and imagination.
