At the Crypto University (www.thecryptouniversity.io), we believe that the internet is still in its infancy: the core internet services will likely be almost entirely re-architected in the coming decades and this will be enabled by crypto-economic networks — a system that will allow for the most optimal solution to come into existence.

The Crypto University is here to ensure that people all around the world have access to high-quality education tools so that they can prepare themselves to thrive in a world governed by decentralized systems.

This online school is still in its infancy but we have already taught several thousand students key concepts in the blockchain space.

About the Role

Selected responsibilities include:

1. Creating rich graphic designs that can be used both on the website as well as across various social media channels.
2. Evolving into a fully-fledged UI/UX Designer to create a rich engaging experience for both students & teachers
3. Designing company focused media kits & partnership proposals under the guidance of crypto university employees
4. Designing one-off assets under the Crypto University brand guidelines.

Who can apply:

1. Have a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs with engaging user experiences
2. Have a strong interest in UI/UX & graphic design and portfolio of work done so far
3. Broadly curious about what it takes to build a business from the ground up

Ideal Candidate

1. Good eye for design and experience using tools such as Sketch, Illustrator & Photoshop
2. Passion to learn and become the best versions of themselves
3. Ability to estimate and meet project timelines
4. Willing to go above and beyond to help the team succeed

About your reporting manager

1. Graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Computer Engineering and a double major in Human Computer Interaction
2. Past work experience includes Microsoft, Yelp, Rent The Runway, Oyster (acq. By Google), CoWrks, Cuemath.
3. Manager will focus on your overall career growth to make sure that you grow both as a designer as well as an individual
