Senior Python Developer

You will be responsible for

  • Collaborating with our designers & developers to make highly quality products on the Web
  • Working with the peer developers and write good django and python code to implement & release features.
  • Taking ownership of the features built and maintain them by following software engineering best practices.
  • Being creative in using tools and third party services to deliver the code faster.

Must have

  • Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework
  • Experience in ORM (Object Relational Mapping) knowledge with Django ORM or SQLAlchemy
  • Good PostgreSQL experience
  • Experience with version control systems like Mercurial, Git.
  • Understanding of security, entitlement and transactional issues for web services, and web-based applications
  • Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL (optional)
  • Previous experience in developing a successfully deployed production quality web systems (optional)
  • Experience architecting modular server side components including APIs with excellent understanding of component abstraction (optional)
  • Experience with developing web services based interfaces (REST/SOAP) and end user applications desired. (optional)
