In an age where all information is available at fingertips, planning a holiday still means visiting multiple portals, and comparing multiple agents to arrive at the best combination of itinerary-budget! And while we would love to decide where to go - we still want a concierge - the travel agent to help us plan the holiday.

We realized that with travel portals of today designed in late 90s, there's a lot left to be reimagined in the holiday planning and booking space. Even today, it can take up to 72 hours for a travel agent to create a customized holiday based on the traveler preferences; we are fixing this!

Role details

We are looking for young spirited fiddlers - you could be an engineer by qualification or a law graduate - we hardly care! We are looking for someone who can punch code, develop features and manage infrastructure. This not a vanilla coding job or a website development project - it's an exciting product development opportunity - and you can expect a lot of freedom and challenge.

This position is for data analyst with skills in Python, MongoDB and AWS/DevOps. Our main web-app is on AngularJS > Java Spring > MongoDB and our data analytics is through Python. We have also developed a proprietary technology called auto-packaging (More here: http://help.bookmytraveller.com/knowledge-base/how-to-create-an-auto-package/) which is based on Python data analytics. We also use some other community software when it comes to data massaging, database manipulation or documentation. If you are an agile lover, you will love working with our team. We expect you to be proficient in Python and have at least working knowledge of MongoDB or another noSQL database (ex. Firebase) and be ready to pick up the others as we go along.
