We are looking for developers who have a strong love to code, to join us on our mission and build solid products help us connect new freelancers, independent professionals with our marketplace. If you’re bored of working on small bug fixes or features and looking to work on something wholesome and meaningful while learning new concepts, this is the job for you.

What you’ll work on

●  Be involved and drive product & design discussions

●  Work on interfacing the REST APIs with our Angular codebase, deploying the application and Monitoring the Services

●  Code review and ensure that implementations are testable, modular, performant, scalable, documented and secure.

●  Mentor and Guide other developers to help them write better code.

●  And, most importantly, brainstorm and create new directions that TapChief can take in the journey to make disrupt the service economy.

You’ll be a core member of the team, you’re individual growth matters to us. You’ll have unlimited free access to the experts on our platform to consult and learn from. Team members have used it to do everything from learning new concepts, figuring out which models work, to learn and switch into Product Management. We also take some time each day to discuss what we're working on and teach each other about parts of the codebase.

Our Tech Stack

We have a fascinating ecosystem on our backend infrastructure to proactively cater to the product,
infrastructure and productivity. We mainly use Javascript(Angular, NodeJs, etc) and Python(Django, Celery etc) – giving us a highly dynamic spectrum to build efficient and quick business logic as well as perform optimized process-heavy work. Our team spends their time thinking through complex architecture to build robust platforms to serve our users. We love to build well-abstracted modules and components – seeing ourselves as a team that gives our product and other teams the wings they need to fly high.

What you’ll need || Requirements

●  Strong object-oriented design skills, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive modules and class-level interface.

●  0-3 Years of experience in working on any MVC based frontend framework(Preferably Angular, otherwise React, Vue.js or Ember.js also works)

●  History and familiarity with client-side development of web apps, and deployment of these systems.

●  Solid Knowledge of HTML and CSS

●  You are comfortable in a high paced environment and can respond to urgent (and at time ambiguous) requests

●  You understand the business impact of your decisions.

●  Have contributed to an open source project

●  Have working knowledge of multiple programming languages

●  You're an incessant problem solver and tougher the problem gets, more fun you have.

●  You love to own end to end responsibility, starting from defining the problem statement (either yourself or alongside your peers), development, testing, releasing in staging & then production env and finally monitoring.
