A day in your job could involve any of these

a) Quality Assurance for every new build (regression and feature)

  x Review UI for Consistency and Functionality

  x End-to-end testing of web and mobile app

  x Design, develop and execute manual test cases and then automate this flow by writing  integration tests / end to end tests

  x  Identify, record and track bugs

  x Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

b) Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

  x Aim for automated testing using CI / CD tools once all test cases have been documented for manual testing

  x Frontend testing automation using tools like Selenium is a plus

c) Process Documentation

  x Liase with customer success team and ensure user manuals are up to date after every release

d) Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Our star performer would have

Technical skills:

a) Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and techniques (Selenium, Mocha, Jest, etc.)

b) Ability to identify the potential problems users may encounter

c) Prior experience (2+ yrs) with writing test cases and manual testing

d) Prior experience with automated testing is a plus (our stack is Javascript + RoR)

a) Great at communicating well and writing clearly

b) A person with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, who loves taking up challenges head on, and someone who will dig deep till the answers are found.
