Operations Manager

Sunday Mattresses is India's first online sleep startup. We are trying to make a mark in the 3.2b $ mattress market in India ,which is highly fragmented and equally competitive.

Currently, Sunday Mattresses has two types of products,  Ortho Plus mattress and Latex Plus mattress.The flagship model of Sundayrest, LatexPlus, passed LGA certification (which stands for longevity of the mattress) from Germany and scored a 99/100. It procures most of the raw materials from European countries and the final manufacturing and assembly happens here in India. Moreover, Sunday mattress is designed by acclaimed Japanese designer, Hiroko Shiratori.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and coordinating mattress deliveries in Bangalore.
• Improving and standardising the operating procedures to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Handle the team of delivery guys.
• Have constant interaction with the customers, take feedback and work towards improving the procedures.

Who are we looking for? 

• A successful candidate will be someone who is disciplined, methodical and has excellent people skills.   
• Some experience is essential unless the candidate is extremely passionate and has basic raw skills.
• Prior startup experience is an added advantage, not a must.
• Ideal for MBA or non-MBA candidates.
• Candidates from Tier1/2 colleges(Undergraduate or Postgraduate) would be preferred.
