CTO for HR Tech startup (salary+equity)

WHO WE ARE?
My partner and I are 2 non-tech cofounders. My partner is an engineer by education who's always been an entrepreneur since college. I, on the other hand, have worked in tech startups all life, starting with Directi, then Burrp and now this.

OUR EXPERIENCE/ACHIEVEMENTS?
We've already built a successful HR services business which has setup startup teams at some of India's most successful tech startups. This services business currently employs over 50 and does close to US$ 1 mn in revenues.
Few years ago we ventured into HR tech with a cloud-based HRMS product: www.sumhr.com. In the last 3-4 years of operations, we've brought aboard 500+ paying companies who have between 10-1000 employees. Currently our product manages HR lifecycle for 25000 employees.

WHAT'S OUR MISSION?
SMBs around the world are plagued with the spreadsheet HR mentality. HR management is one of the most underrated and neglected domains in organizations. But slowly this perception is changing, however the technologies to help bring about this revolution are insufficient and incapable at the moment.
We're on a mission to change the way SMBs manage HR. We're here to automate the entire employee life-cycle, from data to decisions. sumHR is being developed to become the 'Real HR Business Partner'!

PROBLEM AT HAND?
In the past, we've worked with tech-leads and tech-heads who've helped us move from point A to B but we've never been satisfied with the involvement or end results (being hungry for growth and revolution).

  • While we appreciate their contributions (some more some less), we've burnt our hands enough with 'tech leads' now and have collectively decided that this mission can only be accomplished with a true-blue CTO person, who is 'All-In'.
  • We've figured out the business processes, pricing, growth strategies, teams, etc. But being non-tech cofounders, we need someone we can keep faith in and who can lead us in the right direction when it comes to technology.

WHAT TECHNOLOGIES WE USE?
PHP, Lumen, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Web Services, AWS, Elastic Search, AngularJS, NodeJS, Ubuntu/Linux, Beanstalk, etc.

WHO WE WANT?
+ A techie with unflinching passion for new-age web technologies and hunger for creation.
+ The person should be <30 at any cost
+ College pedigree is not a criteria
+ Experience in tech-product-startup environment is a must (not services/web-dev agencies, please)
+ Someone who's got no other priority in life right now except finding this job and doing it bloody well
+ Badass go-getter who won't let bottlenecks slow the team down
+ Straightforward talker who can convince his/her team to follow his lead, inspire them to focus on our mission

WHAT WE WANT?
+ Database design & administration skills, capability to create large-scale software architecture
+ Familiar with OOPs, MVC frameworks and front-end technologies
+ Comfortable with server management (dev-ops)
+ Temperament to handle a team of 15+ techies from varied backgrounds/cultures/experiences
+ Belief in hands-on approach, self-learning attitude

FOOTNOTE:
We've burnt our fingers and hands in the past, so we're very cautious this time to find someone who we can truly trust. Being non-tech cofounders it's critical for us that the person is honest, sincere and dedicated to our cause. Some of you may think that this is a "dream person" and we'll never find someone like this - well, yes, it may be but no one ever said Startups and Success are going to be easy, right?
