Backend/PHP Developer - LAMP Stack

Sugoi Labs , Bangalore · sugoilabs.com · Full-time employment · Programming

We are looking for PHP developers with knowledge of MVC frameworks and minimum 1 year of work experience.

The will to create new products, ability to think through use-cases on your own and of course any great proof of work that you have done on your own is necessary.

At Sugoi Labs, we are at the cusp of being the incubation zone for distinctive future and global audience facing products. We are probably one of the only or amongst the very few of Indian companies to have entered into this exclusive segment of being a hatching place for Made in India but for the world products.

We are a Nasscom 10k Nurtured startup with our in-house product Fitko, which is a consumer facing platform and a fitness tech. solution. Some of our notable achievements include being awarded the Hot 100 startups award in 2014.

Our Workplace :

We have an open workspace wherein we all work together, eat together, hang out together (We do not have the luxury of plush managed office spaces, but yes, we do have lunch & dinner in house along with anything else that any one of us feels like eating or drinking)

We follow a loose vacation policy and don't mind any hours of working or getting into office, as long as we all maintain a track of what we are supposed to do and what we are doing.

Our statistics :

Our startup is into 5th year of operations, still very young and maturing gradually. However the work domains we are following are very competitive, and within a short time, we have seen rapid traction.

The people we are looking for:

We are looking for people ideally with full stack capabilities, with LAMP stack, MVC frameworks and frontend capabilities across HTML, CSS, JS. Working knowledge of Node.js will be a plus.

You should have capabilities enough to be an independent contributor (we will support you with specialised in-house support like design, product management and other development collaborations of course) to handle taking a product from idea to implementation.

The future:

- We don't like to go about saying we will be the next big thing and google of tomorrow. We, however, have a dream to script noteworthy people facing products, which are spoken of in goodwill by their end consumers. And while we realise this future, your future looks something like:

- Learning 10X times more than what you know now.

- Becoming a leader of your own division and interest (Think Google's development groups)

- Doing value driven work and making huge mistakes as well. The kind which most of your peers can only dream of.

- Salary in the range of 3-5 lacs.
