Senior Manager

We are looking to hire a Senior Manager in our Business Development team. 

This is a mission critical role where you’ll work with the founders and other senior leaders from operations and finance teams to expand vision and to grow the platform exponentially. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the business and the relationship development with potential partners. Align objectives, priorities and resources between them and the client
  • Planning, executing and overseeing new partnership initiatives
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new partnership opportunities
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Handling sales aspects of the B2B clientele by on-boarding them on our platform.
  • Ability to build proposals, business projections and presentations to close funding deals. 
  • Interacting proactively with internal and external stakeholders. 

Key Requirements: 

  • 2-4 years of work experience in the FinTech/Lending sector. 
  • A good university/education background is preferred. 
  • Previous experience in B2B business development is preferred.
  • Great communication and people skills. This role involves interacting heavily with both, internal and external teams 
  • Previous experience in team management is a plus. 
  • High IQ: A clear demonstration of this in the past is a requirement. For example: Passing a difficult exam in the past/ getting into a good school in the past 
  • Entrepreneurial in nature. For example: Any idea big or small, does not matter, you need to execute from start to finish 
  • Ability to make solid decisions with incomplete data 
  • Ability to work hard and long hours on difficult problems. A clear demonstration of doing this in the past is a requirement 
  • Highly organized through meticulous note-taking and superhuman ability to multitask
  • Keen interest in fin-tech. You will be required to source and connect with fintechs in India. A close eye on the lending ecosystem as a whole (competitors, regulatory landscape, etc.) will be needed 
  • Sourcing debt and equity capital through various investors 
  • Build proposals, business projections and presentations to close funding deals 
  • Ability to look at legal agreements with an eagle eye when working with fintechs and 3rd party service providers
  • A+ problem-solving skills and delivering clear root cause analysis breakdowns
