Shopify Freelancer - Customer Support Position

What we're looking for

• A Shopify Freelancer /  technical support engineer to support our customers. 
• As a support engineer, you'll focus on making sure that our customers are successful in using our products. You’ll do this by applying a deep understanding of our customers, their processes, our product and the systems with which we integrate.

 Responsibilities

• Ability to research, learn and deeply understand our products. 
• Desire to communicate with customers over email, forum and sometimes verbally.
• Help our customers in all stages of usage of our product - during trial, setup/configuation, and after-sales support
• Making sure all customer issues that need resolution by the engineering team are followed through and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ability to write and maintain documentation to simplify life for a customer and for yourself. 
• Work with our product team and contribute towards driving our product roadmap with real world customer requirements

Requirements

• Prior experience with Shopify is a MUST
• Prior experience with other ecommerce platforms is welcome
• At least 1 year experience with customer support for a business/enterprise tool
• Excellent spokes and written English communication skills
• An engineering/technical degree would be considered a strong advantage
