Security Engineer to report to Carnegie Mellon PhD

Soroco , Bangalore · soroco.com · Full-time employment · Programming

Soroco is a young company leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to build a platform for software automation. We have a team of highly trained and well-qualified members, including PhDs from Harvard, MIT, and Carnegie Mellon. Our team includes alumni of Microsoft Research, McKinsey, Citrix, Samsung Research, IBM Research, and several more.

We are currently hiring someone for our Electronic City office who is passionate about security (network, information, systems). You would be expected to keep up with the latest trends in security, help secure our production sites and internal infrastructure, and build systems related to security as well. You should be no stranger to PKI, x509, firewalls, secure storage, SIEM, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), VPN, IPSec, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS, containers, etc.

You would directly report to one of our PhDs from Carnegie Mellon, so it would be a great learning opportunity as well.  Over time, you would be expected to help build out more of the security team as well.
