Software Engineer - ROR

• Years of experience: 3 years + experience in programming on Ruby on Rails.
• Role Description: Software engineer will be fully involved with development of software application, He/She should have expertise in RoR, Javascript, Mysql Database. Software Engineer needs to co-ordinate with Project Manager, Team Lead and Associate Software engineer. Needs to follow coding standards and needs to have good knowledge MVC structure.
• Key responsibilities:
• Should be good in understanding the requirements.
• Should deliver assigned tasks with good quality within given time
• Should be able to prioritize tasks & take ownership.
• Should follow coding standards.
• Should adapt with latest web technologies.
• Needs to participate in Project planning.
• Should follow company policies and protocols.
• Should be proactive in technical & non-technical aspects of projects.
• Should participate in peer reviews & mentor juniors
• Technical Skills required:
• 3 years + experience in:
• Creating applications using technologies such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Web Services, MySQL
• Preferred: Experienced in Ruby on Rails.
• Should be good in MVC concepts.
• Should know CRM process and should have worked with different payment methods integration.
• Experience with Agile development cycle.
• Experience in e-Commerce systems is must..
• Experience in working on Social Sites, cloud like Amazon, etc., are added advantage.
• Experience in MongoDB, NodeJS, SASS and Coffeescript will be added advantage
• Hands on experience in: Creating applications using technologies such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Web Services, MySQL.
• Good in Soap and WSDL services.
• Should know Web 2.0 standards.
