Back End Developer who creates products that users love!

We are an early childhood venture with HQ in Singapore. Our mission is to enable each parent to give their child the best start.

Our webapp (www.mykinderpass.com) has crossed 70K users and 1 million page views. Our mobile app (KinderPass) has recently launched in India and was covered by Outlook, ABP Live, Times Now, Newsgram, Tribune and 15 other media outlets.

We would like you to:

o Lead Design and implementation of new features and release + maintenance.

o Deliver performing, reliable, scalable, and secure code.

Who we are looking for:

A smart individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 1-3 years of experience. You should have experience with web servers- deployment and automation as well as databases, load balancing and caching.

We look forward to hearing from you if you have:

o Demonstrated expertise in at least one or two areas where you can drive technology (e.g. micro-services, API design, TDD, infrastructure, open source software)

o Knowledge of REST API best practices and External API integration experience 

o Proficiency with MySQL / Familiarity with MongoDB

o Experience with queuing architectures

o Proficiency in Python; Familiarity with Django

o Worked with an Agile team and can work independently and/or remotely. You should be able to organize and structure your work with minimal supervision.
