As eCommerce and category management experts, we digitally monitor, collect and transform data from eCommerce retailers across the world, such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Flipkart etc., and develop intelligence on millions of online products based on our Digital Shelf IQ analytics platform. Whether consumer markets in North America, EMEA, Australia or Asia, our customers have the capability to easily compare price developments for a single product, understand where and how their assortment is represented and whether, for example, content provided to describe a product is complete and comparable in quality - across any number of different eCommerce platforms.

We do not just simply facilitate access to analytics; we proactively drive business solutions for the top brands around the world by providing on time business reports and actionable insights across category, pricing, assortment, promotion and content metrics. We are driven to transform how customers are shopping online by supporting manufacturers and retailers to take targeted business decisions that drive higher sales.

Making all of this possible is a young and dynamic team of about 50 people globally (including selected consultants and outsource team) with key office locations being our global HQ at Ahmedabad (Prahlad Nagar) and Kochi as well as select US locations.

Your potential new role at SKU Monetate:

As a Sr. Data QA Analyst / Lead, you will lead a team of 3-4 members to ensure the Digital Shelf IQ data analytics platform delivers high quality performance to all our customers. The objective will be for you to take client-specific goals into consideration and, consequently, suggest and develop relevant and measurable processes to ensure that we deliver on quality. On top of processes, you are also responsible for developing test cases for data quality and management. You will of course be thoroughly trained on the platform in order to understand data acquisition and the respective business value we provide to our clients.

This is an entrepreneurial role where you have an opportunity to not only learn about the business, but also proactively shape the business by leveraging the development of processes and methods while building, training and mentoring a team which is crucial for implementing the processes to success. You are a skilled collaborator with highly effective communication skills who will work across teams, such as Data Warehousing, ETL and Data Visualization, and directly reports to the director of operations.

Experience:

• Understanding and writing business requirements
• Defining and developing processes using tools such as Microsoft Visio
• Developing detailed processes using swim lanes, RACI models and other such methodologies
• Building straightforward technical quality assurance testing processes to be implemented by Data QA team
• Hands-on experience in performing actual analysis and stamping approval to move to production
• With ease working with large datasets
• Spotting challenges and issues relating to data and their respective patterns
• Working with respective teams to augment their individual processes
• Ensuring delivery while maintaining timelines and budgets

Other requirements:

• Education - Bachelor degree or above in Management, Accounting or Economics
• Work experience in financial reporting, quality assurance or process improvement
• Language skills
• English as primary working language
• Fluent English in both reading and writing as well as ability to host conference calls and presentations
