Software Engineer  - 2 positions open in Bangalore

 Role Description

Technology is a key tool in creating efficient systems that can enable and manage a scalable career development platform. SkillWiz has developed a proprietary software platform that enables self-evaluation, improvement, competency mapping and career decision-making in a unique and powerful way. Integrated with social networks, this platform is already being successfully used by youngsters in India.

SkillWiz is currently looking for persons who are passionate about software technology and problem solving and are keen on being part of a small, young and dynamic company in one of India’s fastest growing and most promising sectors – the Talent and Education sector.

 Requirements

-        Educational Qual:- B.E. / B. Tech.  in Computer Science

-        Experience: between 0 to 2 years (strongly preferred)

-        Extremely high Problem Solving chops (absolutely needed)

-        Must have high Aptitude, which indicates high ability to learn new stuff (absolutely needed)

-        Must be humble. We don’t like arrogance and show-offs.

-        Must be willing to work in high-pressure, team situations. (Great things are not built by simply chilling out and sipping on cola)

-        Must be interested in changing the world. Or at least, transforming an Industry by writing powerful code. (Yes, it’s possible. We’re doing it. )

-        Must be motivated to create wealth, earn some fame and be called an Industry leader. (None of this we promise, but it’s most likely going to be a side effect of doing something great!)

-        Should be skilled in the following areas or should be able to pick these up soon:

o   Quantitative Problem Solving

o   Object Oriented programming

o   PHP, Javascript, JQuery

o   CSS, HTML 4,

o   Databases – MySQL

o   MVC framework

-        Additional skills in Data Mining would be a great plus point
