We are looking for a motivated and talented node.js developer to join our talented and fun dream team. 

Projects you will work across may include, but are not limited to:

•         A clinical assessment app for developing countries
•         A personal health record platform for mental health services
•         A software platform that facilitates discussions in hospital appointments
•         A goal-setting app for employment services

Your responsibilities:

You will work alongside our project and technical team to collaborate on all activities below.

• Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
• Building interactive data from multiple systems and RESTfully abstract to the UI through a Node.js backend
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Integration of data storage solutions
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Address and improve any technical issues
• Collaborate well with engineers, researchers, and data implementation specialists to design and create advanced, elegant and efficient systems

Skills and experience – must haves:

•  Previous working experience as a node.js Developer for 1-3 years
• BSc degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field 
• In depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS or Restify
• Experience implementing applications using Angular or React
• Experience creating front end applications using HTML5, Angular, LESS/SASS
• Hands on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
• Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with MEAN Fullstack paradigm
• Knowledge of the following will be considered as an advantage:
• Consumer Web Development Experience for High-Traffic, Public Facing web applications
• Experience with cloud technologies also a plus
• Creating secure RESTful-based web services in XML and JSON, Javascript, JQuery
• Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git)

•         Able to work remotely as an individual as well as in a team setting
