Signal processing engineer to work towards development of a novel solution for the deaf.

Summary:

SSL is a software based novel assistive technology that enables a deaf and hard of hearing person, develop near normal speech. We have developed this technology in partnership with BIRAC, Govt. of India and are now marketing the product in India, Europe and Africa.  

We are looking for a self driven, motivated, individual with interest in “Research in signal processing”, who will help improve the overall performance of the algorithm based on current user feedback.

Job Profile – Signal Processing Engineer

• Evaluate and understand in detail, the core positives and negatives of the existing algorithm and explore newer ways of achieving improved results.
• Participate in all aspects of development of the same and new algorithm including design reviews, implementation, code reviews, testing with clinical teams.

• Explore use of machine learning and AI to improve the algorithm

• Coordinate with the team developing the UID / UIX / Server.

Minimum Qualifications: 
Experience with C++
Demonstrated experience in/with software development

Experience in signal processing technology
A Bachelor's degree in ECE/EE and 3 years of professional work experience (or a Master's degree) is required.

Additional Qualifications: 

• Tech/ME in EE, ECE, CS, or Computer Engineering with 3+ years industry experience.
• Strong team player.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and strong problem solving capability.
• Self-motivated individual requiring little guidance and with the ability to work and communicate effectively within a development group.
• Strong experience with software development processes including automated build and development environments.
• Experience in working with MATLAB or Simulink is a plus.
• Experience in Embedded system development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Model Based Design and Code Generation is a big plus.
• Knowledge of subsystem design, development and integration is a plus.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) is a plus.
