If you are not from the oil industry, then you have probably never heard about us. That's ok.

SARA SAE Pvt Ltd (http://www.sarasae.com/), is a multinational oilfield equipment manufacturer headquartered in Dehradun having clients in the oilfield industry all over the world. With revenues to the tune of several hundred crores, we have fully owned subsidiary companies in USA and Singapore (http://www.stsproductsinc.com/) and a sales network that is spread across the planet.  

The Opportunity

We understand that being a mechanical manufacturing giant is not enough in today's world to stay ahead of the competition. Hence, we have kick started the 'Sara Technology Center'. A completely new vertical in the organization, totally independent and separate from the hierarchy present in the company, which aims at developing cutting edge technology for digitizing modern day oilfields. We are a small team of 5 (2 Electronics, 1 Mechanical, 1 Petroleum, 1 Designer) right now and we report directly to the President of the Sara Group. Yes, indeed we have a work culture like your everyday neighborhood startup.

We are looking for.....

....young, brilliant and passionate people for our team. Specifically,

A CSE guy/girl, who

·         has 0-2 years of experience.

·         Good understanding of database

·         Great Networking Skills

·         Greater JAVA skills

Awesome if,

·         You love (creating and) bringing beautiful UIs to life

·         You can write simple apps for mobile devices

·         You know image processing

An Electronics guy/girl, who

·         has 0-2 years of experience.

·         Great knowledge of LabVIEW

·         Knack of applying theoretical DSP concepts to practical situations

 Awesome if,

·         You know image processing

·         The 'other' languages you speak includes 'C', apart from English and LabVIEW.

·         You have hands-on experience in programming microcontrollers (The AVRs, The PICs, The ARMs et al)

·         Apart from designing circuits, you know the dark art of making them work.

Our judging criteria is simple, we are looking for brilliant and passionate people. So how we are going to know that you are 'The One' for us? In your application, we are going to look for

·         Cool academic projects

·         Cooler non-academic projects

·         Participation in various techfests/contests organized by prestigious institutions (like the IITs, NITs etc)

·         Work experience, if you have any.
