Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business requirement collection
  • Source system analysis and solution the data model
  • Documentation on technical specification, data validation and quality check
  • Develop scripts for extraction, transformation, incremental loadings
  • Testing and validating against the requirement and source data
  • Installing and configuring the application as per the specifications
  • Design and development of dashboards
  • Publishing and scheduling reports
  • BI administration for user/group creation

Skills and Experience :

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
  • 1-4 years of experience in BI, reporting or analytics design and development
  • Strong knowledge of building dashboards applying business rules and data validations
  • Excellent knowledge of database concepts, SQL and query optimisation
  • Knowledge of ETL, data warehouse concepts and data/ dimensional modelling
  • Advanced knowledge and use of excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
