Front End Developer

Rigkno is an interactive web platform which helps students in identifying and understanding their areas of interests at a personal level and encourage their creativity. Currently, most schools lack a design to engage students and build curiosity to go beyond regular academics, leading to uninspired learning and a process of gradual disengagement. To address this need we have developed a Website and App which will help schools in improving collaboration among teachers, students and parents, and a Website for their day to day administrative purpose. RIGKNO is an initiative of 5 IIT Roorkee alumni.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Develop project using Agile methodology and take responsibility for each module till delivery of project
• Maintain and improve the website. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Participate in internal product improvement, evaluation, and beta testing exercises
• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

You'll need to have :

• Excellent JavaScript and HTML/CSS skills
• Design, develop and deploy AnguarJS applications.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git, will be an advantage.
• A working knowledge of Linux systems

• A self-motivated team player who takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail
• Comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires improvisation
• Willingness to constantly learn new technologies

Good to have -

• Front-end unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, PhantomJS
• Knowledge of Angular 4 and Typescript
• Knowledge of node.js and NoSQL databases
