Software Test Engineer - Mobile Applications

Quotient is seeking Quality Assurance Engineers to join our mobile engineering team. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the high quality of exciting new Coupons.com features and apps. In your role, you will be reviewing feature requirements, defining test cases, then executing them against the latest releases of our iOS and Android apps. You will also be actively involved in defining and building a comprehensive automated test suite. 

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reviewing product requirements and test plans to ensure proper test coverage of new features.
• Write and Execute test cases
• Failure triage and reporting
• Collaborate with software engineering and quality assurance resources as needed to resolved problems and identify root cause of product defects
• Define test automation strategies and design for applications under test

Required Skills / Experience
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience in testing iOS and Android native apps 
• Experience in mobile app automation
• Works under direct supervision, but relies mainly on prior experience, standards and templates for accomplishing tasks 
• Use design, programming & analytical skills to solve problems
• Working knowledge with any defect tracking systems; version control systems; test management systems
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be a self-starter and a quick study 
• Excellent time management skills

Preferred Experience
• Working knowledge of Objective C, XCode and iOS a plus
• Working knowledge of Java a plus

•Hands on mobile app automation experience is a plus

Education / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years Quality Assurance experience testing commercial software
