Quartic.ai is currently hiring a Senior User Interface Engineer to work in our Bangalore office. This is a great opportunity for you to join a young, evolving team at a foundational member role to build an IIoT AI Platform to help world achieve Smart Industry 4.0

As a Senior User Interface Engineer, you will manifest our design into what will actually be the face of Quartic.ai’s platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the product design team to convert wireframes/mockups into actual structured interactive front end
• Work cross functional with the backend team to build seamless products
• Contribution to Innovation
• Be a team player
• Work in agile, scrum driven fast throughput environment

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field with minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience.
• Mastery of the JavaScript language (ES 2017) and all the modern tooling that it requires is essential!
• High proficiency in one or more of the JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Backbone Marionette, ReactJS) – Required
• High proficiency in one or more of the JavaScript charting libraries such as D3, PlotLy, AmCharts
• Experience in Server-side scripting using Node.js – Required
• Experience with one or more of the Javascript test frameworks (Jasmine, Qunit, mocha) - Required
• Exposure to backend technologies (Python, Django framework) – Optional but a big plus
• Experience in mentoring a team in coding standards, design patterns and general best practices - Required
• Test Driven Development (TDD) or other development approaches with a focus on high quality tests - Required
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Leads product design and code reviews; can competently review any aspect of their product or major sub-system
• Drives architecture discussions and proposes solutions to system and product changes
• Produces clear, well communicated, complete designs for product features or sub-systems
• Motivated and interested in delivering results
• Ability to adopt to new development environment, changing business requirements and learning new systems highly desirable
