Pype Inc. (www.pype.io) is software product development company building innovative SaaS products for North American construction industry. Our corporate headquarters is based in Washington D.C. We are a rapidly growing and looking for a AngularJS Developer to be one of our first full time group of engineers in India. We're looking for experienced and talented engineers to help build the platform that powers Pype's Cloud products.

You will play a key role in building our innovative product pipeline. Using your deep understanding of modern web architectures and Cloud platforms, programming expertise and operational experience, you will help future-proof our established products and internal tooling, by designing, implementing and operating infrastructure components that are key to building successful SaaS products at Pype.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a complete front end application using AngularJS framework
• Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
• Communicating with external web services
• Build the front end with good software engineering principles

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, computer engineering or a related engineering field.
• Must have 8+ years of hands-on development experience and should have worked on frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS based UI development in at least 2 to 3 full cycle projects and set of related tools (Karma, Jasmine, Gulp, Node.JS, Express Mock).
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
• Professional, precise communication skills
• Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
• Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
• Ensuring a clear dependency chain, in regard to the app logic as well as the file system
• Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performant visual effects and keeping the framerate above 30fps at all times
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
• Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS
• Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts
• Documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions
• Must have strong experience on Unit Testing tools for AngularJS such as Karma, Jasmine and should be well versed with concepts such as Spyon.
• Should have strong knowledge on mocking objects and unit testing of directives, services (including restful service invocation), controllers, filters with Karma and Jasmine.
• Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
• Experience with Agile development highly desirable
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Possess strong technical written and verbal communication skills
• Be flexible to learn and work on Android, iOS based mobile app development efforts.
