Video Editing Expert

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a rock star Video Editor to create over the top creative content that matches stakeholders vision and is suitable for marketing.

Ultimately, as a video editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story

Services include:

• Editing and delivering content and applying post-production to video projects in areas including utilities, inspection, and monitoring.

• The Video Editor’s prime function is to provide a high-level of support to the team, concentrating on the development of creative elements to bespoke video work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• All services should be delivered punctually and as agreed with the customer.

• Communication with your team and clients is key to the success of your role.

The Video Editor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Facilitate video projects from beginning to end.
• Create repeatable/streamlined processes for on-going project needs.
• Correctly estimate and communicate the time and effort needed to perform a task.
• Contribute to the conceptualization of projects.
• Contribute to the agreed-upon production schedule and communicate effectively with team members.

Required Skillset

• Proven work experience as a video editor
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
