DevOps Lead

Real-estate in India is entering into new phase, and we as a group with Housing, Makaan and Proptiger are looking for a Lead for our Devops team to drive our configuration management, build, deploy and monitoring platforms. You will help automate and streamline current and new processes and operations. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. You will prioritize and troubleshoot customer issues and help to resolve them.

Responsibilities:
• CI/CD and configuration management
• Server provisioning automation
• Capacity planning of different environment’s infrastructure
• Ensuring zero outage of main services
• Setting right set of security measures
• Setting up failover, DR, backups, alert and monitoring
• Keeping the cost of the infrastructure to the minimum

Apply if you have...
• Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Computer Science (IITs, IIITs and NITs preferred).
• 4-7 years of strong experience and 100% hands on with Linux environment and scripting languages Bash, Python, Ruby etc
• Great experience of Amazon web services
• Experience with version control systems like Git, build tools (Maven, Ant, Grunt etc..)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with packaging programs like MSI, rpm, or other.
• Knowledge of SQL, and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, ElasticSearch, Solr
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers etc.
• Experience in automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet is a plus.
