Node.js Developer (Sails, Elasticsearch, MongoDB)

Responsibilities:

  • Build core modules of the PropheSee platform.
  • Drive product development for PropheSee and ensure timely deployment/deliverables.
  • Get your hands dirty with clustering, replication, deployment scripts, AWS automation etc.
  • Ability to work on projects both collaboratively as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and individually.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience developing in backend technologies (especially NodeJS).
  • Well versed in RESTful APIs and their different use cases.
  • Experienced in Agile Methodologies.
  • Linux, AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, CloudFront), Apache
  • A well-rounded experience of both backend(NodeJS, Java)
  • Extensively worked on NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra etc.
  • Working knowledge of Git.

Other skills we'd appreciate:

  • Experience with large scale data analysis (e.g. Spark, Hadoop/MapReduce)
