WordPress development intern

We are looking for a WordPress Development Intern to work with us for two months.  You will work with our marketing team to develop, debug, and update our websites. You will have the opportunity to work on a major site revamp and platform optimization.
 
In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Taking the complete ownership of converting wireframes to functional, optimized/cross-platform web pages based on WordPress
• Following industry trends for front-end technologies and techniques   
• Collaborating with marketing team and designers to refine and improve the user experience
• Testing the functional features

The ideal candidate will:

• Be adept at WordPress platform, related plugins, CSS, HTML, PHP and JavaScript libraries
• Have the ability to take wireframes and create high-performance web pages that meet the design and technical specifications following accepted best practices for accessibility and performance
• Have advanced understanding of front-end optimization techniques, both in page size and rendering time
• Be ableto work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
