CTO for an Executive search firm

Job Title: CTO

This is an internal position to Positive Moves. We are an executive search firm with offices across 8 global locations, including UK, USA, UAE, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India. We are looking to bring on board a CTO who can help deliver our vision of an advanced technology enabled, Digital, & seamless Client centric systems/platforms, that are secure and helps us build efficiencies across all functions of our business.

The role responsibilities:

This role will be an independent position where the incumbent will be responsible to help drive and deliver the entire technology function's strategy and vision.

• Strategize

Can create a roadmap to help take Positive Moves further on its digital journey. Is able to help set the long and short term vision and goals for the function. The incumbent should understand the impact of technology across various facets of business and be able to support the firm's Management in achieving their desired technology goals.

• Conceptualize

Has displayed ability in converting strategy into a viable product, that is clear on the concept, output, and bottom line. Should be able to work on developing value-driven outcomes across all capabilities both internally and externally.

• Create

Ability to code/ should be hands on with coding, apart from strategically and technologically building and leading a team. Should be able to code in PHP / Python/ Java and have expertise in My SQL.

• Implement

A key step in the process of transformation is implementation. The incumbent’s ability to manage and influence users to adapt to the new applications/ products is critical should have demonstrated the ability to have made this happen. Especially in a high pressure, high output environment where UX will be critical along with one’s ability to manage pushbacks and one's ability to convert users.

• Lead

Will need to have the ability to lead & grow a small team of developers and IT administrator

• Protect

Security is one of the most critical aspects of our business. We manage a lot of confidential candidate and client information; data security is hence one of the biggest concerns. Building a platform/ application that is secure as well as allows the right level of access is critical. Data security as well as compliance will be a critical part of this roles functions.

The candidate should have created and implemented an ioS or /and Android-based app in the past, should have led a team & played a central role in the design and delivery of this product.

The candidates will need to display a solution-centric approach while being Positive, Driven, Persistent & Taking ownership.
