Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in system architecture, leads by example, and mentors engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software. You will play a key role in designing solutions, guiding technical decisions, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of our products and client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures

• Define technical strategies, coding standards, and best practices

• Review and guide high-impact technical decisions across projects

• Lead complex design discussions, ensuring solutions align with business goals

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to products and processes

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend and/or full-stack applications

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Perform code reviews to ensure performance, reliability, and consistency

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues across systems

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and technical support

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and engineering excellence

• Support onboarding and training initiatives for new team members

• Own technical delivery for major features or systems

• Break down complex requirements into clear tasks for the engineering team

• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders

• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality and reliability

Required Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong foundation in system design, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering initiatives or technical teams

• Expertise in at least one modern backend or full-stack technology stack
  (e.g., Node.js, Java, .NET, Python, Go, etc.)

• Strong understanding of databases, APIs, cloud services, and distributed systems

• Excellent debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a tech lead or lead engineer on large-scale projects

• Experience mentoring or supervising engineering teams

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments

• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, or multi-tier architectures

• Prior experience in a remote or distributed team environment
